📋 Description

• Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Ensure accuracy and integrity in all financial reporting. • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on financial results. • Manage all aspects of the accounting functions, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Expense Processing, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. • Oversee the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and report variances. • Oversee project-based accounting to ensure accurate tracking of project costs, revenues, and profitability. • Maintain and iterate/improve robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. • Manage and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. • Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to support business decisions. • Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of financial systems and accounting processes.

🎯 Requirements

• College degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • CPA or CMA-equivalent certification preferred. • Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a marketing or technology agency. • Strong understanding of project-based accounting and revenue recognition. • Excellent knowledge of GAAP. • Proficiency in Quickbooks Online accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. • High-end English proficiency is required.
