📋 Description
• Lead the review, analysis, and evaluation of real estate appraisals • Assign appraisal reviews to department staff • Monitor workflow and ensure timely completion of assignments • Follow up on vendor prepared valuations and resolve discrepancies • Research residential real estate markets and conditions • Review appraisal companies for approval to pursue bidding • Evaluate complex or unusual properties
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience • 7+ years of related experience • State Certified General Appraisers License and/or MAI designation • Expert knowledge of commercial real estate valuation methodology and techniques • Strong analytical and evaluative skills • Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills • Strong leadership skills • Ability to manage workflow and adapt to changing conditions
