📋 Description

• Requirements gathering and drafting of technical specifications, incorporating modern architecture concepts such as Infrastructure as Code • Identification and assessment of architecture-related standards with a focus on future-proof technologies such as IPv6, SDN and cloud-native network architectures • Advising on technical strategy with consideration for principles like container-first and automation • Designing IT architectures based on identified requirements, including integration of cloud-native components, Infrastructure as Code and IPv6-only environments • Designing company-wide reusable architectural building blocks based on modern approaches such as containerization and automated deployment • Reviewing and evolving existing IT architectures, including transformation strategies towards cloud-native, container-first and IPv6-oriented architectures • Advising on the implementation of designed IT architectures using SDN and automation tools • Advising on the realization and commissioning of architectures by incorporating Infrastructure as Code approaches and cloud-native network architectures • Reviewing established architecture standards to ensure compliance with requirements such as IPv6, Infrastructure as Code and container-first

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in IT infrastructure architecture across domains such as network, server, storage, IT security, operating systems, backup, middleware, identity management, IT operations management and cloud • Strong expertise in network technologies with a focus on Software Defined Networking (SDN) • Infrastructure automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet) • Cloud-native network architectures (e.g., Kubernetes, service mesh) • IPv6-based network design and practical implementation • Containerization following the 'container-first' principle (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) • Infrastructure as Code technologies for automated infrastructure management • Experience with architecture and transformation projects in complex IT environments • Analytical thinking, strong conceptual skills and a high degree of personal responsibility
