📋 Description

• Provide expert legal advice on employment law matters including hiring, termination, disciplinary actions, workplace policies, and disputes • Draft and review employment contracts, workplace policies, severance agreements, and contractor agreements • Support internal and client-side HR and leadership teams with employment-related legal strategy, compliance, and risk mitigation • Assist in resolving workplace disputes including harassment claims, employee grievances, and investigations • Advise on global and regional employment law compliance, particularly in Australia or other common law jurisdictions • Monitor legislative and regulatory updates related to employment and provide timely recommendations • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., HR, Finance, Operations) and external legal counsel when necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree and valid legal qualification in a common law jurisdiction • 5+ years of experience practicing employment law; experience with multinational or remote teams preferred • Background or strong working knowledge in HR practices, compliance, or advisory roles • Demonstrated ability to work on employment law matters across jurisdictions • Strong understanding of workplace regulations, contracts, and employee rights • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment • Exceptional legal drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills
