📋 Description

• Lead the application and acquisition process for an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). • Design, implement, and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures. • Build and promote a strong compliance culture across the business. • Establish a risk-based compliance framework aligned with business objectives. • Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage regulatory relationships. • Oversee compliance monitoring and reporting, ensuring timely updates to leadership. • Develop training materials and deliver compliance training programs to internal teams. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable financial, regulatory, and cryptocurrency laws in Australia and internationally.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related discipline. • 5+ years of experience in compliance roles, ideally within fintech, crypto, or financial services. • Deep understanding of ASIC regulatory requirements and licensing processes, including AFSL. • Demonstrated experience developing compliance strategy, frameworks, and reporting tools. • Strong regulatory engagement experience and stakeholder communication skills. • Highly detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication.
