• Determine client needs and estimate the costs of civil infrastructure projects; • Obtain project inputs (existing drawings, regulations, surveys, studies); • Design water distribution, sewer and roadway networks; • Perform hydraulic calculations; • Coordinate the installation of urban utility networks (UTNs); • Produce and interpret drawings and specifications; • Quantify project quantities and estimate project costs; • Prepare municipal permit applications and provincial authorizations; • Plan and supervise civil engineering works; • Ensure compliance of construction works.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Master’s is an asset); • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ); • Experience in engineering consulting; • Minimum of two (2) years of specialization in infrastructure (sewers, watermains, urban utility networks) and roadworks; • Knowledge of best management practices for stormwater; • Experience with drainage network modeling software (SWMM) and water distribution modeling (EPANET); • Familiarity with standards and regulations governing water supply and sanitary/storm sewer systems; • Availability to travel to project sites; • Strong teamwork skills; • Comfortable working in a hybrid remote-work environment; • Motivated to join a team that balances respect for individual needs with project timelines.
