📋 Description

• Write approximately 1 high-quality YouTube script per month for long-form video content • Develop engaging narratives around documentary subjects, historical events, real-world stories, and significant events or moments • Conduct thorough research using reliable sources to ensure scripts are accurate, well-supported, and factually sound • Transform complex topics and research into clear, entertaining, and accessible storytelling • Structure scripts with strong hooks, pacing, narrative progression, and satisfying conclusions • Collaborate with producers, researchers, and other creative team members to brainstorm and develop video concepts • Incorporate feedback and revise scripts to align with creative direction, audience expectations, and channel goals • Stay up to date with YouTube storytelling formats, trends, audience behavior, and content strategies • Ensure written content follows copyright, sourcing, and brand guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience writing scripts for YouTube or other long-form video platforms • Experience writing for documentaries, factual programming, historical content, or other research-driven formats • Excellent storytelling and writing skills, with a strong understanding of narrative structure and pacing • Excellent research skills, including finding, evaluating, cross-referencing, and synthesizing information from multiple reliable sources • Ability to turn complex topics, historical events, and information-heavy subjects into engaging, easy-to-understand narratives • Strong understanding of YouTube audiences, retention, hooks, pacing, and storytelling conventions • Excellent command of written English • Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to consistently deliver high-quality scripts on schedule • Comfortable working independently in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment
