📋 Description

• Design and maintain the reasoning layer for operational engines, including workflows that route and action tasks based on business logic • Translate manual processes into automation with Engine Leads and iterate using operational feedback • Build AI agents with Claude, Codex, or equivalent, supported by evaluations and manual QA • Codify business rules, build data-quality gates, and define human handoff safety valves • Partner with domain experts across Payments & Debt, Tendering & Partner Activation, and other operational areas • Connect internal platforms and third-party services using APIs, webhooks, n8n, and equivalent workflow tools • Build and maintain frontend applications in TypeScript using tem's AWS-native stack, databases, and S3 • Deploy through GitHub and GitHub Actions • Own automation delivery from discovery through production, monitoring, and iteration • Measure success through manual hours removed each week and report the metric • Respond to workflow errors and improve automations based on real-world use • Stay current with AI models, agent frameworks, and prompting techniques and apply relevant developments

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years in automation roles with a provable portfolio of hours reclaimed through code replacing manual work • Comfort with API integration and connecting systems not designed to work together • Deep experience with low-code automation platforms such as n8n or equivalent • Hands-on experience building agents with Claude, Codex, or similar tooling within real logic flows • Systems-thinking ability to map messy human processes into clean architecture and ship within an engineering stack • Habit of using evaluations and manual QA before production deployment • Comfort partnering directly with non-technical domain experts and translating process knowledge into automation • Experience with APIs, webhooks, and workflow tools • Experience building frontend applications in TypeScript • Familiarity with AWS-native technologies, databases, S3, GitHub, and GitHub Actions • Experience in high-growth startups or operations-heavy environments is a bonus • Background in data engineering or business intelligence is a bonus • Active engagement with the AI tooling landscape is a bonus • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
