📋 Description

• Monitor the sales pipeline and resolve overlapping in-progress and confirmed revenue or double-counted deals • Define and report forecast accuracy against annual targets • Set standards for tracking commercial metrics across the team • Diagnose CRM data-quality issues, including parent-child asset relationships • Conduct commercial opportunity sizing and partner performance analysis • Identify pipeline underperformance, emerging trends, and risks before they appear in headline forecasts • Translate retention and renewal trends into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders • Work with commercial and sales stakeholders to define agreed metrics • Translate complex data into compelling stories for non-technical stakeholders • Increase data adoption so commercial colleagues can self-serve routine needs • Report to the Analytics Manager while working day to day within the commercial team

🎯 Requirements

• Solid SQL skills for investigating complex datasets across modern analytics stacks such as dbt, Omni or similar BI tools • Good commercial understanding, connecting analytical findings to revenue and margin outcomes • Experience developing forecasts or scenario models and explaining variance from actuals • Ability to turn ambiguous stakeholder questions into well-defined analytical problems • Ability to present recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders • Proven experience building trusted metrics or reporting from messy or inconsistent source data, such as CRM and transactional systems • Experience in energy, fintech, or another commercially complex, data-heavy sector is a bonus • Python for deeper statistical or data-quality work is a bonus • Experience building metric frameworks connecting operational activity to commercial outcomes is a bonus • Familiarity with CRM systems and parent-child/account hierarchy data structures is a bonus • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
