📋 Description

• Translate business and customer needs into feasible, shipped product • Work closely with ML and forecasting teams to make product decisions • Own technical-product detail and define model and forecast success criteria • Design for edge cases and operational realities in systems carrying live financial risk • Drive open product decisions to completion and maintain clear Now, Next, and Future plans • Lead initiatives from discovery through regular product releases • Decide what to formalise, prototype, or drop • Work within full-stack teams including ML/data science and software engineers • Pull and interrogate data to inform decisions and measure success • Reason about model performance and error as business indicators • Engage users, including internal commercial teams, generators, and businesses • Address the most pressing technical problems across the Rosso product • Focus initially on the developing portfolio area • Evaluate problems such as buying versus building forecasting capabilities and ensuring Rosso responds to system events at scale • Collaborate with the other Rosso product manager and report to the Rosso Product Lead

🎯 Requirements

• Technically strong, ML-literate product manager • Experience embedded in full-stack teams including ML and data science professionals (MLEs, MLOps, DEs, and DAs) • Ownership of at least one complex product area end to end • Track record of moving real business outcomes, not just shipping features • Uses data analysis throughout the product process • Experience building product in a startup, scaleup, or other high-growth environment • High personal ownership of an area • Strong instinct for failure points, edge cases, and operational reality of live systems • AI-native, AI-literate, and AI-critical • Clear, structured written communication • Bonus: experience in energy, fintech, or another domain where ML is mission-critical • Bonus: experience with forecasting or fulfilling a two-sided marketplace • Bonus: experience with third-party access and/or international expansion • Bonus: experience with regulated industries and data-heavy products • Fluency in spoken, read, and written English
