📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Keet Mobile, a peer-to-peer chat and calling app for iOS and Android • Build and polish features for chat, voice and video calls, media sharing, device pairing, and identity backup • Implement UI/UX using React Native and Expo • Use the on-device peer-to-peer core APIs in a Bare worklet • Integrate push notifications, camera, biometrics, and background tasks on iOS and Android • Profile and optimize performance on real devices, including startup time, long chats, media handling, battery use, and network use • Write unit and end-to-end tests • Maintain release stability through CI and crash reporting • Collaborate with core peer-to-peer, design, and product teams • Review code to a high quality standard

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience with React Native • Experience with Redux for state management and Redux-Saga • Highly proficient in JavaScript and ES6+ • Experience with WebSockets • Experience with RESTful APIs • Experience working with a remote team • Interest in modernizing and optimizing mobile or web applications • Knowledge of native languages such as Swift or Kotlin is advantageous • Familiarity with native build tools such as Xcode or Android Studio is advantageous • Experience building with peer-to-peer frameworks is a bonus • Excellent English communication skills
