📋 Description

• Translate Polish into English for video games (indie to AAA titles) • Proofread English (USA) translations to ensure quality • Work on localization projects using CAT tools (memoQ preferred) • Ensure correct gaming terminology and cultural adaptation • Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Submit CV with gaming translation/localization experience and proposed rates • Sign confidentiality agreement and complete a translation test as part of onboarding

🎯 Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in English (USA) • Strong command of Polish • Deep passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming terminology • Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming localization (Polish>English (USA)) • Expertise in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy games • Skilled in CAT tools (preferably memoQ) • Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, creative environment • Applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement and complete a translation test • Minimum Requirements (must meet ONE): Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies OR 2+ years of translation experience + a college degree OR 5+ years of translation experience (no degree required) OR a translation certification issued by an appropriate government body
