• Work as part of a game testing team to identify and fix localization issues affecting the game. • Perform manual testing across various gaming platforms (mobile, tablets, browser, etc.). • Make text changes and ensure accuracy and linguistic quality of localized content. • Write detailed bug reports based on company standards and client specifications. • Perform regression testing and verify fixes using test tools or databases. • Follow and complete Test Cases / Checklists to perform targeted testing and execute testing processes and procedures. • Apply knowledge of user preferences in the target market to influence client product. • Proactively look for gaps in test coverage and collaborate with partner teams. • Offer constructive feedback on gameplay, fun factor, and game balance based on target market knowledge. • Complete other tasks deemed appropriate for the role.
• A regular game player and passion for the video games industry. • Native level of Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), including excellent spelling and grammar. • Good command of Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) and English (instructions, documentation, communications in English). • Gaming LQA experience. • A Bachelor’s degree is required (degree in computer science, game design, or related field is a strong plus). • Excellent attention to detail, “can-do” attitude, and strong work ethic. • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. • Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. • Understanding of digital technologies (mobile, tablets, browser tools, etc.). • Ability to work well in a team environment. • Drive, positive attitude, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and creative environment. • Possess an Android device and willingness to participate in on-device testing. • Immediate availability preferred. • Bonus: Game testing experience (FPS preferred) and FPS gamers welcomed. • Bonus: Experience with software localization or QA in video games or related industry. • Bonus: Familiarity with testing methodologies. • Bonus: Experience with game localization and familiarity with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Mantis, ADO, Bugzilla) or CAT tools (SDL Trados, MemoQ).
