• This role offers a broad spectrum of accounting and controlling responsibilities. • You will be part of our finance team and work across multiple legal entities handling around 150,000 postings per year. • On one hand, you will ensure thorough, detail-oriented ongoing accounting down to the source-document level. • On the other hand, you will analyze figures, understand variances and provide solid bases for decision-making. • Participate in day-to-day financial accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed assets accounting. • Carefully review, code (account assignment) and post incoming and outgoing invoices. • Perform intercompany reconciliations and settlements between entities. • Administer payment transactions. • Actively support the upcoming annual financial statements according to HGB (balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow). • Maintain and implement monthly reporting including commentary on BWA (management analysis). • Analyze planned vs. actual variances and derive business management actions. • Prepare budgets, forecasts, reports and liquidity/cash-flow overviews for internal and external stakeholders. • Coordinate with tax advisors, auditors and tax authorities.
• Solid professional experience in accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, intercompany), ideally in a multi-entity environment or from a role with broad individual responsibility • Experience in meticulous invoice review and account coding as well as a sound understanding of HGB financial statements, ideally with experience contributing to annual financial statements • Controlling skills: you derive KPIs, forecasts and business measures from the numbers • Proficiency with DATEV is required as well as advanced Excel skills • Quick comprehension, a high degree of independence and a good eye for detail • Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken • Initial experience with BI tools and building reporting structures from scratch is a plus • Background in hospitality, real estate or multi-entity setups is a plus • Interest in automation and process optimization (API integrations, posting automation)
