📋 Description
• Research partner organizations, industries, audiences, and campaign objectives to develop effective story angles and messaging • Write branded articles, sponsored features, newsletters, and other digital content • Translate partner goals and key messages into natural, relevant content for Christian Post readers • Write from and demonstrate a strong understanding of a biblical, Christian worldview • Develop headlines, calls to action, and supporting copy • Incorporate partner and internal feedback while maintaining clarity, accuracy, and quality • Handle complex and sensitive subject matter with thoughtfulness and nuance • Manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines • Collaborate with the Creative Strategy Lead and Strategic Partnership Managers throughout content development
🎯 Requirements
• Professional writing experience in branded content, editorial, advertising, marketing, agency, or a related field • Exceptional writing, editing, research, and proofreading skills • Experience translating campaign objectives into compelling reader-focused content • Strong understanding of Christian audiences, faith-based organizations, and topics relevant to the Church • Familiarity with faith-based topics is required • Ability to adapt voice, tone, and approach across a wide range of organizations and subject areas • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadline • Collaborative, responsive, and professional approach to feedback • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments from brief through final draft • Familiarity with SEO and digital publishing best practices is a plus • Previous experience writing branded or sponsored content for faith-based audiences is a plus • Cover letter with résumé required • 3 writing samples required
