📋 Description

• Assist the VP of Pharma Strategy and Contracting in determining manufacturer, product class, and drug strategies and executing those strategies • Collaborate with Ascent Health Services on product class strategies and approaches with pharmaceutical manufacturers for the Commercial book of business • Manage pharmaceutical relationships and develop strategic partnerships with targeted pharmaceutical companies across internal Supply Chain departments • Interact with Commercial and Medicare formulary modeling teams to develop product category strategies and manufacturer rebate requests • Provide insight on Cigna Health Plan and large Custom Client formulary, rebate requests, and market strategies • Assist Account Directors in finalizing manufacturer rebate agreements and matrices for accuracy, signature, and invoicing implementation • Support Sales and Account Management on RFPs, presentations, and client discussions • Represent the department and provide formulary strategies for Custom Clients • Assist Formulary Consultants with rebate requests • Interact with clinical, account management, operations, finance, and specialty business development management teams

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience • Strong financial acumen and understanding of supply chain dynamics • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders • Exceptional written, verbal communication, and presentation skills • Solid negotiation skills and ability to influence and persuade • Ability to balance organizational and external partner needs • Adaptability navigating complex dynamics and ambiguity • Ability to effectively cope with setbacks • Honest, direct, and transparent communication style • Self-starter able to work independently and with the broader team • Registered Pharmacist (RPh or PharmD) and/or MBA is a plus, but not required
