📋 Description

• Design material handling equipment utilizing AutoCAD • Lead project installation, vendor assessments, and procurement • Improve existing systems and procedures, increase efficiency and add capacity • Develop short and long-term capital strategy to support DC volume growth • Coordinate all aspects of each assigned engineering project from inception through to completion • Research historical data to estimate critical timing sequences and projected construction costs • Find creative solutions for timely installation of equipment • Investigate groundbreaking technologies for applicability to TJX Companies • Mentor Project Engineers and lead special projects • Lead capital projects up to $100 million or more

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial or Mechanical) • 6+ years’ of Engineering & Project Management experience • Experience with material handling systems • Distribution Center/Retail experience preferred • Experience with AutoCAD Design • Understanding of work methods analysis • Detail oriented, strong organizational and conflict resolution skills • Ability to balance multiple projects and changing priorities and work independently as well as in a team environment • Project Management experience leading teams • Negotiation/influencing skills and strong communication skills • 40%-60% Travel is required
