📋 Description

• Process and record financial transactions including invoices, payments, receipts. • Monitor and reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis. • Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts, budget reports, and cash flow forecasts. • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures. • Manage accounts payable and receivable ledgers, ensuring timely payments and collections. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with accounting standards. • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and procedures. • Assist with audits by providing relevant documentation and responding to queries. • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters. • Support the preparation and submission of tax returns (e.g., VAT, payroll taxes) where required. • Provide administrative support to the Finance team as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Someone who has completed their A levels (or equivalent). • Someone committed to their professional development and willing to work towards a recognised finance qualification (e.g. AAT or ACCA) • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Good organisational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
