📋 Description

• Own procurement and supply planning across the product range • Lead demand forecasting and inventory planning across the SKU portfolio • Own purchase order placement and timing, working with suppliers on lead times, MOQs and production schedules • Build and manage manufacturer and supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, terms, lead times and service levels • Manage freight forwarder relationships, rates and SLAs • Own inbound freight strategy, including sea versus air freight, container consolidation, routing and shipment planning • Manage the end-to-end inbound process from supplier through customs into the warehouse or 3PL • Optimise landed cost and manage supplier, freight, duty, storage and other inbound costs • Report on logistics costs and their effect on CM1 and CM2 margin • Negotiate and renegotiate 3PL and carrier contracts and help shape the customer delivery offer • Monitor and resolve supplier and inbound logistics issues, including delays, short shipments, damages and customs issues • Manage procurement commitments, stock valuations, landed costs and cashflow implications with Finance • Support warehouse and 3PL teams with inbound schedules, stock information and delivery expectations • Lead supply chain planning for peak trading periods • Own procurement and logistics for new product launches • Maintain compliance with customs, transport, product and regulatory requirements across UK, EU and US markets • Maintain accurate supply chain data and systems • Develop procurement and supply chain processes, systems and SOPs • Lead, develop and support the growing supply chain team • Influence senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Operations, Marketplaces and Warehouse teams

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience managing procurement, supply planning and inbound logistics, ideally within ecommerce, consumer goods, retail or a fast-growth environment • Accountability for logistics costs, including demonstrating impact on CM1 and CM2 • Experience leading a team of 3 to 10, including hiring and performance management; ideally restructuring • Confidence influencing senior stakeholders outside supply chain • Track record of changing commercial outcomes, such as renegotiating 3PL or carrier contracts or reshaping the delivery offer • Strong experience across forecasting, inventory planning and purchasing • Experience managing manufacturers and suppliers internationally • Strong experience managing freight forwarders and international inbound logistics • Experience negotiating supplier pricing, MOQs, lead times and commercial terms • Strong understanding of landed cost and the financial impact of procurement and freight decisions • Experience managing peak trading and supply chain contingency planning • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with supply chain data and KPIs • Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Commercial, Operations and Warehouse teams • Proactive, commercially minded approach suited to a fast-moving environment • Ability to meet relevant customs, transport, product and regulatory requirements across UK, EU and US markets
