📋 Description

• Partner with the Analytics Engineering team to align silver-layer and develop gold and platinum layers in dbt • Build and document reusable, production-grade data assets to support analytics and reporting • Drive best practices in dbt development, including modularization, testing, and Git-based version control • Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure trustworthy datasets • Mentor analysts on SQL, dbt workflows, and data modeling best practices • Collaborate with key business partners (e.g., Product, Underwriting, Claims) to ensure analytical outputs meet needs

🎯 Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in data analytics or analytics engineering • Expert-level SQL skills and hands-on experience building dbt projects (macros, testing, documentation, Jinja) • Familiarity with Databricks SQL or similar cloud data platforms • Strong understanding of medallion architecture and experience shaping gold/platinum data models • Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and collaborative development using dbt Cloud or dbt Core • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality data models with minimal supervision • Solid communication skills and a willingness to partner with business teams when needed
