📋 Description

• Energy Storage Real-time Power Trading Analyst • Fully Remote (Anywhere in the USA) • Optimize energy trading performance and forecast revenues for active assets. • Assist in daily trading execution and administrative tasks under the VP of Trading & Risk. • Work with Market Managers to analyze performance across markets and conditions. • Gather and analyze market data (via API, web scraping) to inform and optimize BESS trading strategies. • Support internal teams by delivering training on trading procedures. • Track and assess market rule changes in ERCOT and ISO-NE.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science preferred) • 2+ years of relevant experience in the energy sector; • power settlement experience (especially ERCOT and ISO-NE) is strongly preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); • preferred experience with Python, SQL, and PowerBI. • Familiarity with battery energy storage systems (BESS) is a plus. • Skilled in data analysis, problem definition, and drawing valid conclusions from complex datasets. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical analysis for both internal stakeholders and external audiences. • Proven ability to collaborate across diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
