📋 Description

‱ Guide and mentor engineers by providing direction, support, and professional growth opportunities. ‱ Establish and uphold high coding and performance standards, encouraging best practices across the team. ‱ Partner with product, design, and business teams to shape technical solutions that meet business goals. ‱ Implement efficient development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable practices to maximize productivity and quality. ‱ Resolve technical and operational issues swiftly, ensuring minimal disruption to product delivery. ‱ Oversee end-to-end delivery of innovative, scalable Sportsbook solutions built from scratch. ‱ Shape the processes and culture of the engineering team and drive high-quality deliverables in an agile environment. ‱ Ensure efficient collaboration across teams and build systems that can support the company's ambitious vision.

🎯 Requirements

‱ Proven experience in building Sports betting platform ‱ 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a team management role. ‱ Still hands on technical and able to code in Java or in one of the front end technologies ‱ Proven track record in leading teams that design and deliver large-scale, distributed systems. ‱ Solid experience in backend or front end technologies including Java, Postgres, Kafka, and Redis, or React, Angular and Svelte ‱ Practical experience with AWS is a big plus. ‱ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. ‱ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. ‱ Ability to set and achieve strategic goals, adapting swiftly to changing priorities.
