📋 Description

• Design and build AI-powered features and infrastructure for Thrive’s enterprise learning platform • Build and ship AI-powered features end-to-end from prototype through production deployment • Design and implement integrations with LLMs and AI services, including tool use, agents, and orchestration patterns • Develop and maintain reliable, scalable backend services and APIs for AI features in a multi-tenant environment • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to identify meaningful AI improvements and turn ideas into production features • Contribute to internal tooling, developer experience, and knowledge sharing around AI development practices • Stay current with the fast-moving AI field and help make pragmatic technology choices • Focus on intuitive, fast, and genuinely useful learner experiences at enterprise scale

🎯 Requirements

• Practical experience building software with LLMs, including LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or direct API integration with providers such as OpenAI or Anthropic • Strong backend development skills, ideally with TypeScript/Node.js • Comfort working across the stack, including wiring up React components when needed • Familiarity with REST APIs, async patterns, and databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL • General understanding of how modern software is built, tested, and deployed • Genuine curiosity about AI and experience experimenting with new tools and techniques • Ability to create quick prototypes and productionise them when necessary • Understanding of AI-driven development to write, test, and deploy high-quality codebases • Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar tool-use/agent protocols is desirable • Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda, SQS/SNS, SageMaker, Bedrock, and S3 is desirable • Experience with vector databases, embeddings, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns is desirable • Understanding of prompt engineering, evaluation, and practical LLM reliability challenges is desirable • Familiarity with Docker, ECS, and CI/CD pipelines is desirable • Experience building in a multi-tenant B2B SaaS environment is desirable • Knowledge of AI safety, governance, or responsible AI practices is desirable
