📋 Description

• Provide clinical supervision and support to PMHNPs in accordance with state laws and psychiatric board regulations. • Participate in initial and ongoing chart reviews, case consultations, and quality assurance activities. • Support PMHNPs in complex psychiatric evaluations, differential diagnosis, and treatment planning as needed. • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements for psychiatric NP supervision. • Contribute to ongoing clinical education, best practice implementation, and policy development. • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions. • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. • Provide evidence-based psychiatric care for a range of mental health conditions (e.g., mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, etc.). • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including therapists, case managers, and social workers. • Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation within the EMR system.

🎯 Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with residency training in Psychiatry • Board Certification in Psychiatry (ABPN) • Active and unrestricted medical license in multiple states, or willing to get licensed in multiple states • Minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience, preferably with supervisory or collaborative experience with PMHNPs • Deep understanding of the NP scope of practice in psychiatry and relevant state regulations • Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentorship skills.
