📋 Description

•We are looking for experienced Estonian translators and editors to work on texts in different fields like medical, technical, IT, EU, consumer goods and marketing. •To qualify, you must have at least 2 years of relevant translation or editing experience in your field. •The translations have to be carried out within the set deadlines and the translator must ensure that the translation is: •Accurate in terms of both meaning and subject-specific terminology. •Clear and free of any awkward or unnatural constructions. •Terminology and style guides are strictly followed. •The instructions are carefully read and followed. •Free of any proofreading errors. •The editor must be able to check the translations as per the above mentioned requirements and perform all necessary final checks and QA procedures after the translation to ensure quality and adherence to all the project specific instructions. •We currently have openings for freelance translators and editors for language pairs in: •English to Estonian •German to Estonian •French to Estonian •Italian to Estonian •Estonian to English

🎯 Requirements

•Fluency in English. •Fluency in at least one of the following languages is a plus: German, French, Italian •Native-level fluency in the target language (essential). •An understanding and knowledge of relevant terminology in the native language as well as in English is highly preferred. •Expertise/an advanced degree in any of the following fields: Translation, Linguistics •Minimum 2 years of translation, translation review, editing or proofreading experience. •Familiarity with CAT tools (Memsource, Trados, Transit) and willingness to learn. •Strong time management skills (you will be required to work on deadlines). •Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
