• Define the strategy and roadmap for Empower México’s credit card, from initial launch to nationwide scale • Identify and prioritize opportunities that meet customer needs while driving business outcomes and unit economics • Leverage data and research to uncover insights, shape product direction, and inform tradeoffs • Design, test, and iterate on features and credit policies through rapid experimentation • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, credit, risk, and operations to ensure high-quality delivery • Set clear goals and OKRs that align the México team behind product success • Communicate progress and learnings to Empower México leadership and key stakeholders • Lead the development and growth of Empower México’s new credit card product: own product from the ground up, set vision, drive execution, and partner closely with engineering, credit, and operations • Participate in and travel for company off-sites (minimum expected attendance for off-sites)
• 5+ years of proven product management experience, ideally in fintech, consumer credit, or financial services • Direct experience building and scaling credit card products is a strong plus • Bachelor’s degree (or greater) in an analytical or technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Economics) • Ability to thrive in a startup-like environment — proactive, resourceful, and execution-driven • Strong analytical abilities; comfortable defining and measuring goals consistently • Preference for experience with SQL, Python, and/or analytical tools such as Amplitude and Tableau • Experience delivering complex, cross-functional product initiatives • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and logical structuring abilities • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to independently lay out and test clear hypotheses • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience in México or a LATAM financial market (strong plus) • Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) (strong plus) • Application form requirements indicate candidates must confirm they are currently based in MX, be proficient in SQL/Python, have experience with LATAM markets, and be fluent in English and Spanish
