📋 Description

• Prioritize engineering tasks and team deliverables to ensure quality, safety and customer satisfaction while adhering to schedule and budget • Participate in client meetings and job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data • Perform necessary calculations and review the preliminary design of facilities and equipment for generation collection, substation, and transmission related facilities including physical arrangements • Lead, direct and mentor less experienced team members • Support the development of detailed contracts, manage scopes of work, oversee change orders, and assist with project closeouts • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams • Leverage existing industry relationships to help grow the firm’s renewable energy client base

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering • Professional Engineer (PE) registration is strongly preferred • Minimum of 12 years of experience in distribution, substation, and/or transmission line engineering, with a strong emphasis on substation design • Prior consulting experience is preferred • Proficiency in electrical design and analysis software • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
