📋 Description

• Write persuasive, high-converting ad copy for our sponsors that aligns with their goals and TLDR’s editorial tone. • Partner with our sales and marketing teams to refine and improve outbound templates, follow-up emails, and pitch decks. • Write and optimize paid ad copy across platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, newsletter sponsorships, etc.) to boost CTRs and conversion rates. • Craft and test landing page copy that drives measurable conversions (ie. leads) • Develop and maintain TLDR’s voice, tone and messaging across all channels. • Use data and testing to continually refine messaging for better engagement and outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience writing conversion-focused copy across multiple formats: email, landing pages, and paid social ads • Must have a portfolio of conversion-driven copy (ideally includes results) • Primary skills: • Used to working at lean teams and having a high degree of ownership • Understand conversion psychology (pain points, value propositions, CTAs) and have the ability to apply it • Comfortable with iterative testing and using performance data to refine copy. • Marketing to marketers is a plus (especially demand gen/performance marketers) • Secondary skills: • Excellent communicator; thrives in fast-paced, autonomous environments • Clear, persuasive writing with a direct-response mindset. • Strong attention to detail (grammar, tone consistency, brand voice), and ability to adapt tone for different audiences (e.g., tech marketers, developers, founders, etc.).
