📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Fingerprint, a browser-based user-identification platform for browsers and webviews • Work on high-RPS event collection and processing with ClickHouse-based customer reporting • Build high-RPS collection and identification endpoints • Maintain a Redis-backed key-value store and Kafka producers • Manage ClickHouse migrations • Evolve browser signals and address regressions on Safari and iOS • Own observability, including APM, RED signals, and SLO alerts • Deliver through GitOps using Helm and ArgoCD • Own whole features end-to-end, including UI when needed • Collaborate within a small, dedicated team building B2B web analytics and user-identification products

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering, while still writing code daily • Solid experience with a compiled or systems language such as C++, Rust, Go, Java, or C#, on projects beyond typical CRUD • Experience designing and writing low-level or algorithmically complex logic, such as a network protocol, engine, codec, or storage layer • Comfortable implementing data structures and algorithms by hand without relying on libraries or AI assistants • Ready to work primarily in TypeScript / Node.js • Working English • Nice to have: production TypeScript / Node.js and NestJS, strict-mode TypeScript • Nice to have: clustered ClickHouse, Kafka as a producer, Redis pipelines, Lua, and distributed locks • Nice to have: distributed systems under load, including idempotence, retries, and caching • Nice to have: browser internals including Canvas, WebGL, AudioContext, cross-origin iframes, and storage partitioning • Nice to have: experience shipping third-party SDKs under tight size and privacy constraints • Nice to have: Docker, Helm templates, GitHub Actions • Nice to have: Conventional Commits and a strong review and documentation culture
