📋 Description

• Help develop, program, and commission automation control systems from concept through implementation. • Create virtual commissioning environments using Emulate3D. • Develop PLC logic programs from scratch. • Design SCADA and HMI applications within Ignition and FactoryTalk Optix Studio platforms. • Design and document detailed electrical control systems, producing electrical schematics and panel assembly drawings using AutoCAD Electrical. • Work with multiple cross functional engineers to bring an idea from concept to reality. • Design and develop logic programs to support a wide variety of customers. • Work closely with cross functional teams to integrate conveyor controls solutions, automated material handling equipment, and autonomous vehicles. • Provide technical expertise in controls software design, development, and deployment. • Perform on-site commissioning and testing support. • Break down the design into manageable development tasks and maintain project schedules. • Provide 24/7 remote support when required. • Mentor and train less experienced engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters in: Controls Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering. • 2 + years of experience in control systems engineering with a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree. • Ability to read and debug PLC programs. • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics. • Experience commissioning and troubleshooting VFD’s. • Familiarity with: Studio 5000/ RSLogix, FactoryTalk View, and AutoCAD. • Ability to assist in project definition, specification, purchasing follow-through to installation. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in software and hardware. • Excellent written and oral communications skills, and strong interpersonal skills. • Job will require up to a maximum of 50% travel. • Experience commissioning and troubleshooting servo drives. • SQL Management experience. • Understanding of computer networking concepts and architecture. • Warehouse operations management experience or experience with warehouse management and/or execution systems.
