• Job Summary: Toptal is looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist responsible for scaling Performance Marketing, optimizing paid media and managing SEM, paid social and display campaigns to acquire quality clients. • Optimize paid media and maximize paid-media-driven revenue by providing a steady stream of high-potential prospective clients. • Contribute to development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company objectives. • Identify opportunities across paid social, display, affiliate and other channels; support SEM efforts. • Help executives and senior leadership craft and hit KPIs and OKRs; assist building forecasts and ROI projections. • Work with Business Analytics and Marketing Strategy teams to turn insights into actionable strategies. • Maintain organized playbooks, automated systems, and dashboards for experiments; ensure industry best practices and long-term tracking. • Manage day-to-day campaign strategy, execution, analysis, and reporting; generate reports using Google Sheets, Excel, Google Data (Looker) Studio. • Collaborate with creative and content teams on ad copy, visuals, and landing pages to improve CTR and conversion rates. • Lead stakeholder calls with analysis, recommendations, performance and status updates. • Build and refine audience strategies across paid social, programmatic, and OLV using first-party data, lookalike modeling, in-market segments and contextual targeting. • Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests on audiences, creatives, and placements; create detailed dashboards and recurring reports. • Monitor audience performance trends, reallocate budget to high-performing cohorts to maximize ROAS and lead generation. • Deliver tactical presentations with results, insights and recommendations. • Onboarding expectations: first week - integrate, meet teams, learn platform and frameworks; first month - familiarize with paid media strategies and take ownership of paid social, display and affiliate; first three months - launch growth ideas and deliver strategies; first six months - demonstrate impact on growth and efficiency; first year - scale performance and implement new growth strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree required. • 4+ years of experience in SEM; at least one year of paid social (i.e. LinkedIn), OLV (YouTube) and/or programmatic display experience highly preferred. • Expertise with annual Paid Media budgets in excess of $2M. • Experience in the end-to-end ideation, implementation, analysis, and promotion of Paid Media growth strategies. • Ability and willingness to review, with meticulous attention to detail, all final work product (analytical and creative). • Demonstrated experience growing revenue at scale via performance marketing, preferably within a B2B technology or services company. • Experience with A/B testing strategies. • Experience summarizing results into slide decks and presenting to large teams and executives. • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills in English. • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders across time zones and geographies. • Innate curiosity, willingness to learn, and obsession with growth performance. • Motivated self-starter able to work remotely and deliver results. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company and handle diverse challenges. • Must be a world-class individual contributor; not just a manager of others.
