📋 Description

• Own the complete data lifecycle from ingestion and transformation to modelling, analysis, and reporting • Design, build, and maintain reliable pipelines integrating external data into the cloud data warehouse • Develop, test, document, and maintain scalable data models • Transform complex datasets into dashboards, reports, and actionable business insights • Ensure data integrity and reliability from source systems through final reporting • Follow version control, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and controlled deployment processes • Leverage AI coding agents while maintaining accountability for code quality and production readiness • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into technical solutions • Communicate priorities, trade-offs, and recommendations • Optimise data workflows, system performance, and overall data platform reliability • Independently take business requirements from concept through production deployment • Report to the CTO within the Data Platform team

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing data pipelines and data models within modern cloud-based data environments • Advanced SQL skills and strong expertise in data modelling • Solid Python programming skills for data ingestion, automation, and pipeline development • Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools and scheduled data pipelines • Experience building dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using modern BI tools • Strong understanding of Git, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines • Practical experience using AI coding agents and validating AI-generated outputs • Ability to independently manage projects from requirements gathering through production deployment • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Nice to have: Infrastructure as Code and cloud infrastructure management experience • Nice to have: Knowledge of identity resolution and Master Data Management • Nice to have: Understanding of data governance, PII handling, and data masking • Nice to have: Experience optimising cloud data warehouse performance and managing infrastructure costs
