• Lead and manage the Auto Liability Claims department, ensuring high-quality claims handling, litigation management, and timely resolution. • Develop and implement best practices, compliance standards, and operational workflows that improve efficiency and outcomes. • Provide technical guidance on complex and high-exposure claims, offering strategic direction and mentoring to claims staff. • Review and analyze claim trends, loss data, and operational performance to make data-driven recommendations to leadership. • Coordinate with legal teams, adjusters, third-party administrators, and carriers to ensure consistent, accurate claims management. • Partner with the executive team to support sales presentations, and new business pitches. • Serve as a credible industry expert, helping prospective clients understand our claims philosophy, capabilities, and value proposition. • Strengthen and maintain relationships with brokers, agents, carriers, and key accounts. • Participate in renewal meetings, stewardship reports, and client performance reviews to enhance retention and satisfaction. • Identify opportunities for service enhancements and strategic solutions tailored to client needs. • Collaborate with leadership on long-term claims strategy, cost containment initiatives, and risk mitigation programs. • Help shape product offerings, claims service models, and value-add programs to differentiate the organization in the marketplace. • Stay current with industry trends, legislation, and regulatory changes impacting auto liability claims. • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and professional associations.
• 10+ years of Commercial Trucking Auto Liability Claims experience, with at least 5 years in a management or senior leadership role. • Strong technical expertise in handling complex auto liability, commercial auto, and litigated claims. • Proven ability to lead teams and build high-performance claims operations. • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and confidently. • Demonstrated success supporting business development, sales, or client-facing initiatives. • High degree of professionalism, credibility, and executive presence. • Experience working with self-insured programs, TPAs, commercial fleets, or large accounts preferred. • Bachelor’s degree required; professional designations (AIC, CPCU, ARM, SCLA) strongly preferred. • Active Adjuster's license(s) as required by state(s) of operation. • Completion of our pre-employment assessment via: https://www.ondemandassessment.com/link/index/JB-87PS9BLTA?u=93138
