📋 Description

• Lead and define the Data Science strategy for Product • Advise senior Product and Engineering leadership on data-driven decision-making • Drive development and adoption of scalable, automated, and reproducible data science tooling, platforms, and frameworks • Explore and integrate emerging AI technologies, including Agentic AI and AI Agents, from proof of concept to production • Champion experimentation, causal inference, and uplift modeling best practices • Own complex analytical projects and translate ambiguous questions into actionable recommendations • Mentor, coach, and develop Data Scientists and Analysts • Scale impact through automation, self-service, and democratization of data science capabilities • Develop customer segmentation and predictive models to inform and optimize the product roadmap • Communicate complex analytical and technical concepts to Product, Engineering, Design, and Commercial teams

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in data science or a similar quantitative role, with a proven track record of supporting and influencing a product organization • Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL • Deep, hands-on experience with statistical modeling, (quasi) experimentation, multi-arm bandit, and machine learning techniques including regression, classification, and clustering • Ability to define, implement, and operationalize product and feature-level metrics from scratch • Proven track record of driving strategic impact, leading technical discussions, influencing product strategy, and communicating complex insights to cross-functional partners • Experience scaling analytics capabilities through automated processes, self-service tools, or data products • Leadership experience mentoring, coaching, and developing analysts or data scientists • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field • Advanced programming background with ability to build simulations and prototype data products • Experience validating quantitative findings with qualitative methods such as surveys or user research • Demonstrated experience with applied AI, NLP, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Agentic AI for analytics • Experience in a two-sided marketplace, e-commerce, or travel technology industry • Master's degree or equivalent relevant programs
