📋 Description

• Manage and optimize Azure services, including Windows VMs, Azure SQL Managed Instances, AKS, Cosmos DB, Event Hub, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Synapse. • Support and maintain Elastic Search, RabbitMQ, and Consul. • Oversee on-prem infrastructure, including Hyper-V clusters, SQL Server clusters, Storage Spaces, Barracuda Load Balancer, ExpressRoute, SilverSky-managed security stack. • Administer and enhance monitoring tools, including Splunk, DataDog, and the in-house alerting system (Rasputin). • Develop alerting strategies and dashboards to ensure proactive issue detection. • Drive CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, and Argo CD on AKS. • Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment pipelines and improve release velocity. • Lead technical initiatives from planning through execution. • Develop infrastructure roadmaps and project plans. • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of operational excellence. • Apply hands-on monitoring and observability practices to ensure system stability and visibility.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with a strong preference for Azure environments. • Strong understanding of Kubernetes, SQL Server, and networking fundamentals. • Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk and DataDog. • Proficiency with DevOps tools and practices. • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is required. • Hands-on experience with Terraform, including its current use for provisioning Kubernetes-related accounts and the ability to expand and scale its usage. • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical projects. • Strong planning, documentation, and communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset. • Familiarity with hybrid environments that combine on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
