📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full-stack engineers working on health surveys, checkout, payments, and marketplace products • Hire and retain top engineering talent and participate in performance reviews, coaching, and professional development • Foster a culture of ownership, experimentation, continuous improvement, and learning • Drive the technical roadmap for the team by working with product managers to balance new features, technical debt, bug fixes, performance, and reliability • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Analytics to set priorities, scope initiatives, sequence work, and define success metrics • Ensure high engineering standards: code reviews, architecture guidance, testing, observability, deployments, incident response

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience managing engineers (3+ years preferred), including experience hiring, coaching, and growing engineers • Excellent at working with Product: capable of translating business goals to engineering work, negotiating trade-offs, and sequencing appropriately • A bias toward shipping, iterating, and delivering value quickly • Strong technical foundation: comfortable with full-stack technologies and architecture, with a deeper knowledge of front end architecture patterns preferred • Familiar with A/B testing, experimentation, or data-driven decision making • Experience in payment / checkout / e-commerce / marketplace systems is a major plus
