📋 Description

• Develop and maintain automated tests for services and UI using tools such as Selenium • Write automated tests using BDD frameworks such as Cucumber • Apply design principles to produce clean, maintainable test code • Develop test solutions in Java and/or Python • Work effectively within CI/CD pipeline environments • Improve processes, tools, methodologies, and overall product quality • Lead mid- and senior-level QA engineers • Design and implement QA automation architecture following best practices • Collaborate with developers, product teams, and business analysts to define effective test solutions • Define and implement test automation processes and best practices • Raise defects according to the defect management process using tools such as Jira • Escalate test automation compliance issues to the test manager • Develop and maintain automated functional and regression tests • Mentor team members and guide them toward best practices • Maintain and improve the automated test framework • Create automated tests and investigate test failures • Triage defects with the product owner and team • Support unit-level test guidance for developers • Investigate stakeholder and end-user defects, supporting root cause analysis and resolution • Perform manual and exploratory testing on new features • Collaborate on quality sign-off for new releases following the Agile release pattern • Attend retrospectives and workshops • Define and add test cases to automated test packs, capturing results and defects • Define test plans from business requirements and continuously review scope and testability • Provide test estimations and testing approaches to the product owner and team

🎯 Requirements

• Highly skilled and experienced Lead QA Engineer • Solid, hands-on experience across DevOps practices, web services and API automation testing, and UI testing in an agile environment • Substantial Lead QA experience, including writing test code and performing daily test activities while guiding and developing a team • Experience with API testing frameworks such as REST Assured • Proficient in Java and/or Python • Experience using Cucumber with Gherkin language and feature files • Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins and GitLab Pipelines from a testing configuration perspective • Understanding of differences between testing tools and frameworks • Experience working within cross-functional teams at service level • Effective problem-solving skills and attention to thoroughness • Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain organised in a dynamic environment • Professional and positive approach • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Background verification check required • No AI tools used in the agile testing environment
