📋 Description

• Develop and maintain automated tests for services and UI • Maintain and improve the automated test framework • Create new automated tests and investigate test failures • Write automated tests following the BDD framework and contribute input to developers for unit-level tests • Contribute to a CI/CD pipeline environment • Develop and maintain automated functional and regression tests in line with defined scripting standards • Investigate defects reported by stakeholders and end users, supporting identification of root causes and appropriate fixes • Perform manual and exploratory testing against new features • Attend team retrospectives and workshops to support continual improvement • Define and add new test cases into different automated test packs, capturing test results and defects • Understand requirements and testing processes to define test plans with continuous review of scope • Provide test estimations and a clear testing approach to the Product Owner and team • Raise and manage defects clearly and efficiently using tools such as Jira • Work closely with the test manager and project teams to maintain quality throughout delivery

🎯 Requirements

• 5 or more years of overall testing experience • Minimum 5 years of experience in Java or Python • 3 to 5 years of experience using Cucumber or Behave to write test cases in feature files using Gherkin language • Experience in API testing frameworks such as REST Assured • Familiarity with CI tools such as Jenkins and GitLab Pipelines from a testing configuration perspective • Understanding of testing concepts, methodologies, and processes across the full software product development lifecycle • Experience with automated testing for services and UI using Selenium and Cucumber • Positive, enthusiastic approach with a genuine interest in quality engineering • Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team • Methodical problem-solving approach with attention to thoroughness and detail • Collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge • Successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations
