📋 Description

• Enable Product Engineering squads to work effectively across problem definition, discovery, delivery, release and outcome measurement • Bring consistency and rigour to squad ways of working, planning, progress visualisation and sharing • Coach squads in agile and product-centric practices and dual-track ways of working • Guide delivery-practice maturity and product-centred planning and prioritisation • Coach teams to focus on outcomes over output and measure customer and business impact • Facilitate refinement, retrospectives and planning meetings as required • Help drive the shift-left quality approach • Eliminate blockers through creative conversation and advise teams • Recommend metrics for measuring and improving team effectiveness • Catalyse change and experimentation while embedding an adaptable agile mindset • Help teams maintain clearly visualised roadmaps, delivery plans and progress • Identify consistency gaps across squads and work with relevant people to close them • Own and improve cross-squad sessions such as show-and-tells and team learnings • Identify opportunities for AI to accelerate everyday team working • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Product Designers, Software Engineers, Data Analysts and Product Engineering leadership • Embed with one or two squads at a time to build trust and drive measurable change

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working as an Agile Coach with cross-functional, self-organising Agile teams • Experience working in fast-paced, customer-centric scale-ups • Experience working in a remote-first, high-performance company • Deep understanding of Agile and Lean thinking, values and principles • Hands-on experience with Scrum, Kanban, DevOps and XP, and combining these approaches effectively • Experience teaching user story mapping, event storming, example mapping and slicing • Experience coaching teams on outcomes over output and continuous product discovery and delivery • Track record of improving discovery and quality practices, not just delivery speed • Comfortable holding people accountable to agreed team practices and closing gaps against standards • Progressive understanding of emerging Agile practices and concepts, including AI’s impact on team working • Servant-leader approach focused on helping others succeed and grow
