📋 Description

• Create a scalable and efficient product within a feature squad • Design new features and functionalities • Implement and develop application functionality • Test the application • Lead creation of innovative features while maintaining code quality and following best practices • Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including architecture, coding, and release launches • Support critical customer services that secure payments • Identify emerging technologies and industry trends • Recommend improvements to the existing technology stack • Foster continuous engineering improvement through code reviews, Test-Driven Development, pair programming, and clean, maintainable code • Work autonomously within Trustpair’s cellular engineering organization

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Ruby (Rails) back-end development • Ability to conceive the technical design of a complex product feature • Experience working on a rapidly growing product • Knowledge of architectural models of large-scale web applications • Experience working in an Agile environment such as Scrum or Kanban • Experience in API development • Knowledge of resilience, scalability, and security constraints • Fluent in English • Desire to work on longer-term technical challenges and accomplish them • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the country where they apply or be a citizen of the Schengen/EU zone • Nice to have: full-stack development experience with React, JavaScript, or TypeScript • Nice to have: DevOps culture and experience with deployment pipelines and CI/CD tools such as Docker, AWS, or GitLab CI • Nice to have: experience in security-focused environments and good security practices • Nice to have: mentoring and leadership experience • Nice to have: experience with other technologies in high-throughput environments
