📋 Description

• As a production manager, you'll be involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. • You'll make sure goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality. • The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements. • Oversee the production process, drawing up a production schedule; • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines • Estimate costs and set the quality standards; • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.) • Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.) • Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc. • Ensure output meets quality standards • Enforce health and safety precautions • Identify training needs. • Supervise and motivate a team of workers; • Report to upper management

🎯 Requirements

• Planning and organisation skills to be able run and monitor the production process; • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations • Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality; • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts • Excellent organizational and leadership skills • Experience in reporting on key production metrics • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field is preferred
