📋 Description

• Deliver Project Controls across major construction projects within the Defence Infrastructure Cost Centre • Lead the programme controls function for a programme, monitoring plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting • Deploy available controls team resources to best effect and identify resourcing requirements • Review new project proposals/remits and monitor development of realistic, resourceable plans for programme delivery • Provide day-to-day reporting support to Programme and Project Managers on plans, costs, safety, environment and programme performance • Monitor data input to cost and performance systems to ensure required data standards are met • Manage the production of the Investment Plan and comply with the Investment Competence Framework • Assess organisational maturity of Integrated Project Controls disciplines and advise on ways of working • Promote empowerment, contribution and build community and support network beyond delivery role

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a SOLE UK National able to achieve and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC) • Holding SC clearance is desirable but not mandatory • Professional Project Controls experience across multiple sectors and whole project lifecycle • Experience in two or more Project Controls disciplines (Planning and Scheduling, Cost Estimation, Cost Management, Risk Management, Reporting) and associated software/tools • Degree in a relevant technical or management field or suitable equivalent qualifications and experience • Membership of a relevant professional body e.g. Association for Project Management or Project Management Institute • Ability to make risk-based decisions where parameters are unclear • Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to influence, manage, motivate, coach and develop teams • Competent in using the software needed to perform the role • Desire to work within various sectors and with a range of clients • Willingness/ability to be on client sites and Turner & Townsend offices as required (~60% of time)
