📋 Description

• Design and implement the architecture for Turnkey’s data stack, from ingestion to analytics and visualization • Work with Operations and Engineering to assess and improve current approaches • Build reliable, secure pipelines to extract and transform data from production systems • Establish data models, schemas, and best practices for analytics, monitoring, and internal reporting • Evaluate and implement scalable ways to incorporate onchain data into our systems — whether through internal services or third-party providers • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define data interfaces that power new features and internal tools • Manage data infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes, ensuring it remains cost-efficient, performant, and compliant with security requirements • Drive a culture of data correctness, observability, and accessibility across the company

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend engineering with a strong data focus • Deep understanding of modern data architecture: warehouses, pipelines, event streams, ETL/ELT frameworks • Strong programming experience (ideally Go or Python) and familiarity with SQL and schema design • Comfort operating within AWS (S3, Lambda, Athena, RDS, etc.) and modern orchestration frameworks • Proven ability to work with production-scale data systems and design for security and reliability • Thoughtful, pragmatic mindset — you can make tradeoffs between elegance and speed • Excited to build foundations from scratch and own the roadmap for Turnkey’s data infrastructure • Experience in crypto, fintech, or high-security environments where data integrity and access control matter • Familiarity with Grafana, ClickHouse, or data visualization and alerting tools • Experience integrating onchain data sources or blockchain indexing tools • Exposure to data governance, compliance, or SOC2 controls
