📋 Description

• Build and own mobile SDKs for Stytch’s identity and fraud detection platforms on Twilio • Work deeply with device internals for complex signal collection and improve identification of bad actors • Ship SDK surfaces supporting authentication, agenting, and non-human identity use cases • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to set direction and translate customer needs into product capabilities • Deliver high-impact roadmap features • Collaborate across Twilio and Stytch teams on architecture and platform integration • Author design documents, drive technical decisions, review code, and maintain ownership of shipped systems • Break down complex problems, make pragmatic tradeoffs, and design developer experiences • Improve production quality and resilience through observability, incident response, and remediation • Mentor and support engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge-sharing

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional mobile engineering experience • Android development experience, fluent in Kotlin or Java • Expertise in mobile development ecosystems, frameworks, and third-party libraries • Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, monitoring, observability, and maintainable systems • Experience making high-impact technical decisions and leading technical initiatives • Proven track record of driving technical excellence while keeping customer needs central • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related industry experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work non-standard hours, including on-call rotation weekend and holiday hours • iOS development experience (desired) • Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform, C/C++, Swift, or Go (desired) • Experience building developer tools or SDKs (desired) • Ability to travel occasionally for project or team in-person meetings
