📋 Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Service Engineer to join our team in Boston, United States. • In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment. • Conduct regular inspections and identify potential issues before they become critical. • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. • Analyze equipment performance data and recommend improvements. • Respond promptly to service calls and provide efficient on-site support. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians. • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies relevant to the field.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) • 3+ years of experience in a similar service engineering role • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment • In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems • Familiarity with industrial machinery and equipment • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite • Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs • Understanding of industry safety standards and regulations • Knowledge of quality control processes • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CMRP, CEM) preferred • Willingness to travel within the Boston area as needed • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
