📋 Description

• Own and grow Underdog's fraud program • Identify gaps in fraud detection, decisioning, and investigation, then build or fix controls • Lead and develop a high-performing fraud team • Design rules, signals, logic, and decisioning strategies across the fraud lifecycle • Configure and tune fraud platforms such as Sift, Sardine, or similar tools • Partner with Product and Engineering to scope, build, and ship fraud capabilities and controls • Analyze fraud trends, test hypotheses, and measure control performance with Data/Analytics • Advance the use of AI, automation, and new data sources in fraud • Drive ambiguous fraud problems through implementation across Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, and Legal/Compliance

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in fraud, risk, payments risk, or a similar function • Experience leading and developing fraud professionals • Hands-on experience with fraud tooling such as Sift, Sardine, or similar decisioning tools • Knowledge of the full fraud lifecycle • Ability to design rules, controls, signals, and decisioning strategies • Data analysis skills, including spotting trends, forming hypotheses, and measuring performance • Experience partnering directly with Product and Engineering to build or ship fraud capabilities • Experience applying AI, automation, and new data sources to fraud • Ability to drive ambiguous problems to implementation across multiple teams
