📋 Description

• Prepare and own daily customer fund segregation and secured amount calculations under CFTC regulations • Strengthen controls supporting customer protection calculations • Monitor monthly settlement bank concentration limits and counterparty credit conditions across depositories holding customer funds • Support regulatory reporting, audits, and examinations covering treasury and cash management • Collaborate with Accounting, Compliance, and Operations to maintain accurate, timely, and compliant treasury processes • Manage daily cash positioning against customer withdrawals, exchange margin requirements, and regulatory minimums • Initiate, review, and release wire transfers under internal controls and approval workflows • Support exchange and clearinghouse margin funding, including initial and variation margin • Monitor liquidity and maintain accurate records of cash, collateral, and bank balances • Build cash forecasting with Finance • Build and maintain banking and payment provider relationships • Lead negotiations for banking, payment provider, and credit facility terms • Help develop excess cash and yield strategies within regulatory and policy constraints • Contribute to treasury policy, controls, and authorization frameworks • Evaluate treasury technology needs and improve systems, controls, and automation • Partner with Product and Engineering on liquidity planning and product mechanics • Partner with Accounting on treasury reporting and reconciliation

🎯 Requirements

• Significant treasury, cash management, or regulatory operations experience in a regulated financial institution such as an FCM, broker-dealer, clearing firm, or bank, including operating a treasury function • Genuine prior exposure to FCM, DCM, and DCO operations and the market-maker side of a business • Familiarity with customer protection or reserve-style calculations; CFTC segregation or SEC Rule 15c3-3 experience is highly transferable • Strong command of cash management, wire controls, and bank reconciliation • Experience negotiating banking and credit facility terms • Exceptional attention to detail • Comfortable working in a high-pressure, daily-deadline-driven environment • Independent; understands segregation of duties and the importance of remaining separate from the trading desk • Ability to partner across Accounting, Finance, Compliance, Product, and Engineering • General understanding of sports betting, fantasy sports, and prediction markets • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field • Bonus: Direct experience preparing daily segregation or secured amount computations • Bonus: Experience with bank counterparty credit analysis or depository concentration limits • Bonus: Familiarity with CFTC Regulations §1.20–1.32 • Bonus: Experience with regulatory reporting portals such as NFA WinJammer or FINRA FOCUS • Bonus: CTP designation • Bonus: Experience evaluating or implementing treasury management systems • Bonus: Experience contributing to treasury policy and governance in a public-company environment • Bonus: Background in a high-growth or lean finance team
