📋 Description

• Bring new products to market and productise the company’s service offering • Re-imagine and refactor existing services and tooling into scalable capabilities • Bridge Machine Learning, Product, and Platform Engineering capabilities • Work with operations engineering and customer success to establish priorities across multiple customers • Triage and resolve technical issues raised by customers and internal teams • Lead or contribute to post-mortems after contractual SLA breaches, identify root causes, and drive preventive improvements • Operate the AI decision engine to improve automation accuracy • Update customer workflows when requirements change and confirm delivery timelines • Contribute to internal tooling and automation for service-operation efficiency • Write and maintain runbooks and documentation for internal agent operations teams • Participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation • Report to a Staff Engineer

🎯 Requirements

• Expert Python development experience and production-grade coding • Experience bringing products to market, ideally taking a product from 0 to 1 or productising a service offering • Experience re-imagining and refactoring systems and tooling to scale reliably with business growth • Core use of AI coding agents and hands-on experience with agentic tools such as Claude Code or Codex • Strong software engineering practices, standards, and culture • At least the next 12 months of continued hands-on software engineering • Product-focused software engineering with deep technical expertise • Comfortable working across the stack and across machine learning, product, and platform engineering • Ownership of problems from start to finish • Previous startup or small-team experience is advantageous • AWS and Kubernetes experience is advantageous • Workflow orchestration systems such as Temporal are advantageous • Ability to contribute to Data Engineering, MLOps, and/or Platform Engineering is advantageous
