📋 Description

• Creating and delivering education to the Coding Team, Clinical Documentation Nurses, Physicians, and other licensed providers • Collaborates with CMOs to ensure the integrity of the Health Record • Monthly monitoring of the clinical dashboard • Assuring coding guidelines and regulations are not compromised during decision-making process • Collaborating with Operational Coordinators and Coding Educators to identify targets for coding quality improvement

🎯 Requirements

• RHIT or RHIA or CCS • Associates Degree – Healthcare related • Five years of coding experience and/or two years in auditing in area of expertise • Awareness of the financial impact of denials • Knowledge of APC reimbursement (Outpatient) • Strong personal computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) • Proficiency in using coding software and electronic health records (HER) systems • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills • Demonstrates critical thinking skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Planning and time management skills • Educational/training experience • Audit experience
