📋 Description

• Prepares basic sketches and performs calculations in support of broader engineering activities involving the design of equipment, components, structures, or systems • Gathers and records information to be used for writing specifications • Reviews vendor drawings to assure compliance with specifications • Models mechanical and plumbing/piping systems in Revit and AutoCAD • Generates Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s) • Performs studies and prepares routine technical reports or sections of reports

🎯 Requirements

• A BS or higher degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required • 3+ years of mechanical engineering or technical design experience • Working Knowledge of design software (REVIT and AutoCAD) • Knowledge of building mechanical, plumbing, piping, and fire protection systems • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Effective interpersonal communications skills, a team oriented disposition and work style, where cooperative work sharing and peer to peer mentoring is a daily habit • Personal inclination to learn and grow via internal training, external training, and senior staff mentorship • Good oral and written communication skills • Able to support and enhance our department’s collective ability to perform Client Site services including surveys and inspections
